Albi Belly Dance is comprised of a group of like-minded women who believe that dance is an important part of the human experience. The people of this world have been dancing since the beginning of time, using movement to express their feelings, to tell stories and to make connections with one another. Every culture has developed its own style of expressive movement, and one of the many benefits of modern global connectivity is the sharing of these dance experiences. The members of Albi have come to Oriental dance at different times in their lives and in different places, but they have all felt the undeniable pull of this art. It is the love of this dance, the sense of self it imparts and the awe it inspires that has knit the dancers of Albi together, and it is all this they wish to share with their audience.
